A college library plays a crucial role in supporting and enriching students' educational paths. It serves as a valuable resource that fosters academic growth, fosters a passion for continuous learning, and contributes to personal and professional development. The library is an essential asset that offers a plethora of materials, encourages excellence in academia, nurtures a lifelong love for learning, and serves as a sanctuary for intellectual exploration. It stands as a vital cornerstone in the overall college experience, providing a gateway to knowledge and intellectual pursuits.
The operational activities of Padmanath Gohain Baruah Govt. Model College library commenced in 2021. The library management is overseen by a library advisory committee, led by the Principal as the Chairperson. The committee includes all Heads of Departments (HoDs) as members, with the College Librarian serving as the Member Secretary. While the library is currently in a developmental stage with regards to its resources, its primary goal is to fulfill the information requirements of the academic community within the College.
