WELCOME TO OUR LIBRARY

“By day, a lifted study-storehouse; night
Converts it to a flattened cube of light.
Whichever’s shown, the symbol is the same:
Knowledge; a University; a name.”
— Philip Larkin, 1983
The Library stands as a pivotal component in shaping the academic and intellectual landscape of any HEIs. It is more than just a repository of books—it is a vibrant, dynamic learning hub that empowers students, enriches scholarly pursuits, and cultivates a lifelong passion for knowledge. As a cornerstone of the HEIs academic framework, the library fosters academic excellence, supports personal and professional growth, and provides a sanctuary for reflection, inquiry, and research.

About the Library of P.N.G.B. Govt. Model College:

The operational activities of the College Library commenced in 2021, marking the beginning of its journey as a center for academic support and knowledge dissemination. The Library Advisory Committee, headed by the Principal as Chairperson, oversees its governance. The committee comprises all Heads of Departments (HoDs) as members, with the College Librarian serving as the Member Secretary.
Although currently in a developmental phase in terms of physical collections, the library is steadily expanding to meet the academic and informational needs of its user community through a combination of physical and digital resources.
